Senior Center: Funding for another year. Maybe a Deli, Definitely Zumba
The Margate Northwest Focal Point Senior Center Board last week accepted roughly $322,000 in Northwest Focal Point (NWFP) Senior Center funding through 2012.
Funds include federal monies provided by the Older Americans Act (OAA), along with matching Title IIIB funds from Broward’s Areawide Council on Aging. The money is used to support the Center’s recreational activities, health and wellness programs, counseling, information, referral, and outreach to Senior Center members 60 years of age and older.
