What are we feeding our Children?

A young, overweight Mom entered the convenience store the other day and gave her child a choice of what to have for breakfast. The child, appearing about six years old and overweight too, chose the strawberry crème wafers for $0.99, a mass of bleached flour and sugar void of vitamins, minerals, protein and fiber.

Getting Over the Budget Crunch

We read stories daily about budget cuts in education and how Margate’s children are being affected. Teachers are on strict budgets with regard to copies that can be made monthly.
