The Fresh Harvest is architecturally eye appealing

While the Seminole Casino is located in Coconut Creek, it’s close enough to Margate to call home. Free laser light shows and music in the parking lot, mini Cooper give-aways, a charity chocolate extravaganza during the holidays and nickel slots for gamblers on a budget.

But if trying lady luck isn’t your cup of tea, the casino’s Fresh Harvest buffet offers incredible deals every day. By signing up for a Player’s Club Wild Card – which costs you nothing, you can eat dirt cheap, including breakfast.

The breakfast buffet with juice and coffee cost $4.95 with the Wild Card and $7.95 without. And as much as I love Lester’s Diner and IHOP, their breakfast prices are out of control lately.

The casino serves up morning favorites every Monday- Saturday 7-10 a.m. They have an omelet station, fluffy scrambled eggs; bacon, sausage, oatmeal, hash browns, hot croissant sandwiches, a breakfast pizza and French toast. Cold food options include a variety of breads, small pastries and fresh seasonal fruits.

While few things stand-out as a culinary inspiration at the breakfast, the hot food is hot and the cold food is cold – and the offerings are flavorful. The breads and pastries appear to come straight from the freezer, but the value is there and the service is friendly and professional.

Even without piling large quantities of food on the plate, the meal with juice and coffee is well worth $4.95 plus tax and a tip (about $6).
