Margate Welcomes Taco Maker
Mex joint in Publix Plaza serves up tasty fare

March 16, 2009
There’s a new taco joint in town that serves up freshness and fun. The international chain, Taco Maker, boasts stores in India, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, the Continental United States and is now open in Margate’s Palm Lakes Plaza (just behind Starbucks).
The counter staff is pleasant and helpful, something of a rarity in fast food these days. The decor is bright and lively and the food is exceptional. Customer service and attention to detail separate Taco Maker from the rest.
The refried beans are flavorful, smooth and authentic and salads come in crispy taco bowls (yummy) filled with fresh ingredients. The salsa is well-balanced and the guacamole chunky with avocado. Menu items under a dollar are a deal.
The fare at Taco Maker isn't salty like most quick service Mexican, and the tacos and burritos are a step up from you know who. Fresh food is the name of the game here. Quality ingredients and smiling faces await you.
The grand opening on March 16th was a splash. The store was filled to capacity. Outdoor seating is coming soon. Stop by and check out Margate’s newest treasure.
