Kids And Sport And Studying

Wednesday, July 7, 2010

As a parent, I can say there is enough time in a kid's life to do both. My two children growing up in Coconut Creek did sport and I made sure that their study did not suffer.  I worked, came home at six and cooked. I set the table and put the television off for good communication.

While we were eating, we discuss how their  day in school went and  made sure they had a good night rest. I went to all parents and teacher meeting, and on occasion just drop in their class to see how they were doing.

I had no car and took the bus. It was not easy, my husband worked night shift. I am very proud of my two kids. Both finished high school and college.

We, the parents, has to make sure that kids can accomplish both goals while they are growing up. With good support and good encouragement. The most important thing for a child is to make sure they grow up in a healthy environment and know who their friends are.

There should be rules for week days and weekends at the proper age for each child.

Technology is making it difficult for children to accomplish goals in life and it also make them lacks and less aggressive.
