Match a fine cigar with a glass of Pinot Noir -- or maybe a Chimay; a creamy Belgian Ale handcrafted by Trappist Monks.

Find it all at Margate's Smoke Inn VI located at 7328 Royal Palm Boulevard where partners Marc Weiss and Salvatore Russo have constructed a cigar lover’s paradise ala walk-in humidor, corporate smoking lounge and reasonably priced fine wines and beers. _______________

Having been open only a few months, the Smoke Inn has attracted more than 400 cigar smoking members. The cost of a basic membership is $2 a year and includes Wifi and Lounge Access.

For discounts on cigars and accessories, and to get yourself a climate controlled cigar locker and access to rooftop smoking, a membership upgrade to “Silver” is required.

A general contractor by trade, Weiss build-out Smoke Inn VI himself, including the 100% cedar humidor and perfectly cut maplewood panels that ply the walls of the corporate lounge.

Russo, front man for the operation, said members range in age from their 20s to their 80s. Many are women, he said, who meet regularly to “burn one” and enjoy cigar presentations and monthly wine tastings.

Men like the Smoke Inn too, Weiss added jokingly. From church and government to cops, firemen and servicemen, all the boys are lighting up, he said (10 percent discount for military personnel).

Cigar prices range from $3 to $30 (Smoke Inn VI carries all the top brands) and fabulous deals on wine can be had by joining the Smoke Inn’s Grapevine Club.
