Padlocks on Sentinel Boxes

Congratulations! It's great that you started the MargateNews.net
We were going to subscribe to the Sentinel but it was stated that it takes from two to three weeks to receive as they mail second class. Didn't seem reasonable; so thanks for referring us to the MargateNews.net.
They do have this great page on the Sentinel site that has a chart which pinpoints the locations of crime. It is really clever, I think.
I love newspapers. They are unbelievably thin in this area now. A bitter reminder every morning of the sad state of the country. Speaking about dreary, I thought it was depressing to see all those Sentinel paper containers with padlocks in the front of most of the stores. What is their purpose?
