Looking for an exciting and inexpensive way to have fun with your kids during Presidents’ Day weekend? Join the crowd at Margate’s Hebrew Academy Community School as they celebrate the joyous holiday of Purim with a concert, a carnival, games, food and fun on Sunday, February 14th from 3:30 – 8:30 PM.
_______________
The school invites the community to party with them as they fulfill the commandment to “Increase Happiness” during the Hebrew month of Adar.
What’s all the excitement? The school is inviting you to join in the merriment of the Purim festival and the bravery of the lovely Queen Esther who, together with her cousin Mordechai, saved the Jewish people from certain destruction at the hands of the evil villain Haman.
The all-inclusive family entrance fee ($36 per family with children, $18 per couple without) entitles kids to unlimited turns on the bungee trampoline, the 35’ super slide and in the bounce house. Partiers will also enjoy the captivating musical talents of two bands - “Skafyah” and “Dr. Laz” - that will mesmerize the crowd with swinging Jewish reggae, rock and rap. A petting zoo, pony rides, carnival games and prizes galore round out what promises to be an amazing day.
Food and snacks are available for a fee, but if you pre-order your ticket by e-mailing tickets@hebrewacademy.org or by phoning 954- 978-6341, you will get a coupon for one free meal comprising a hot dog or hamburger, soda and bag of potato chips.
The award-winning, triple-accredited Hebrew Academy, servicing infants through the 8th grade, is located at 1500 N. State Road 7 in Margate. Early (discounted) registration is currently underway for the coming school year. For information about enrolling a child at the Hebrew Academy or for further information about joining the Purim celebration call (954) 978-6341 or log on to www.hebrewacademy.org.
