The Margate Green Market is Back
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Margate
Tuesday,
November 17, 2009
If you like fresh produce and flowers, comfort foods, hand-made crafts and home-spun entertainment, then the Margate Green Market is for you. Scheduled for two Sundays a month between now and May 2, the open-air event on the NW corner of Margate Boulevard and State Road 7 promises to improve quality of life and leisure.
_______________
Last year’s overwhelming success with the Green Market sponsored by the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency (MCRA) has opened the door for yet another season. The first outing on November 8 drew crowds of satisfied shoppers and with the holidays upon us, Margate’s Green Market is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the harvest, put the freshest of the fresh on your table and gather up some new ideas to impress family and friends.
Are you a ‘green’ vendor looking to build your business?
At the low, low cost of $25 a week or $200 for the season, the Margate Green Margate is a cost-effective means of exposure. For those of you with little or no money to market your business in this down economy the Green Market provides an opportunity to build customer loyalty and generate sales as crowds grow throughout the season -- all at the cost of little more than $6 an hour. Call Rita at the MCRA at 954-935-5323 for more information or to purchase booth space.
Here’s the Green Market schedule for the remainder of the season:
November 22
December 13
December 27
January 10
January 24
February 14
February 28
March 14
March 28
