Local businesses restock Food Bank
• A perfect opportunity to give early for the holidays

BrowardNETOnline.com is coordinating with several local businesses to help replenish the Daily Bread Food Bank after a fire completely destroyed its warehouse. Broward News and Entertainment is partnering with Sunset Blue at 33rd St., Fishtales Bar & Grill, Extra Space Storage and Best Florida Storage to collect food and other necessary supplies to restock the 93,000 pounds (60,000 meals).

The Daily Bread Food Bank is a well known supplier to the local Broward community and has temporarily relocated to 2501 SW 32 Terrace, Pembroke Park.
23 locations will collect food Oct. 14-28. The items needed are: canned goods, and protein items such as bread, cereal, juice and juice boxes, peanut butter, jelly and personal care items like shampoo, soap, toilet paper and hygiene products.
Please, NO perishables.
Sunset Blue will start collecting during its weekly block party Sunday night from 6-10 p.m., Oct 11 and 18 at 33rd St. and A1A in Fort Lauderdale, just north of Oakland Park Blvd. Fishtales Grill, also located on 33rd St., will be collecting at the restaurant all week long.
