Margate Green Market and Street Festival Return

The Margate Community Redevelopment Agency (MCRA) committed $5,000, at their last meeting, to the 2010 Margate Street Festival scheduled for February. Sponsored by the Margate Chamber of Commerce, the MCRA and the City of Margate, this year's Margate Street Festival was a huge success drawing crowds in excess of 5,000 police officials said.

The Margate Green Market returns to downtown Margate in November starting on the 8th. It will be held twice monthly on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will run through May 2nd.
Vendors interested in buying booth space at the event should contact MCRA Coordinator, Rita Rodi at 954-935-5323. Pay in advance for all 12 dates and pay only $16.66 per event.
Those not wishing to commit to the full 12-event schedule can pay $25 per week for available space. Priority will be given to vendors who pay in advance.
This year’s Green Market will continue to focus on “green” and natural-made products, say MCRA officials.
